Hello friend,

Here's ♔CHECKMATE ♚, a chess simulator that twist the classic rules in creative ways!

  1. Vanilla Chess: of course must be the plain vanilla version, if you don't feel adventurous at all.
  2. Flowered Chess: every capture blooms a flower on that square, blocking it forever! Probably the hardest version, a mix between chess and minesweeper.
  3. Prisoner Chess; after each capture, free one of your captured pieces and return it to its starting position. Match become way longer now!
  4. Fog-of-War Chess: here, you can see only your pieces and their move spot, everything else is shrouded in fog. Surprising if you never try something like that.
  5. Energy Chess: each piece costs energy to move,  and if you don't have enough energy, you must skip your turn
  6. Royal Bodyguard: secretly choose one of your pieces as the "true king". If it's captured, you lose.
  7. Pawn Revolt: When you lose your Queen or both Bishops, your pawns revolt and move like a King.
  8.  Chimera Chess: fuse two of your pieces together. The chimera moves with both abilities, but you risk lose 2 pieces.
  9. Random Chess: the pieces of each color are randomly positioned in their rows, only the King stay in the back row.

Fog of War is fun, but its pretty difficult to pin a lone King down

It's the mode for hardcore masters :D

I am quite hooked! Captured chess is … intense.
Will your add more game twists?
